All you knit fans out there please note: this festival has nothing to do with wool. It has everything to do with telling stories, which are, after all, everything – literally the sum of our experience. Life is all about the stories we tell, for what would our little world be without reflection? Much littler, that’s what. Whether it’s film, theatre, literature, illustration or music, Yarn is all over the lot. Much of it is hosted at two of our favourite pubs, the Queen of Hoxton and the Book Club, continuing that fine tradition of sitting around in salons, listening to stories. Divided up into tasty little memoir morsels, it’s like tale-telling tapas: it all looks so fun, I just don’t know which to pick. Oh, go on, I’ll have one of everything…
